This takes place right after the battle with Reyoko at the end of “The Keepers of the Elements” but right before the start of “Dreams Made Crystal" It's hard to explain but The keepers of the elements can be found on here, so if you don't understand it go read that then come back to this, more like read that first!! You have been warned.

oh good, now that you all caught up in your reading, on with the oneshot!!

Aftermath

She was screaming, nothing and no one made any sense. There were others screaming around her but she didn’t know why. Maya screwed up her face and pulled in her dark scythe and her staff, along with her powers. She couldn’t forget, she couldn’t forget who and what she was. She owed Rianna that much. She could deal with the other keepers losing their memories because she knew that there was nothing she could do to help them now.

Maya looked around her, the last person standing in a field of death and destruction. Bodies were scattered around her, some alive but for the moment powerless, others dead and floating off who knew where. She picked the four keepers up and teleported each of them to their own beds. She went back and savagely beat at the body of Reyoko, if for nothing more than to take out her anger at herself for letting this happen. Maya delivered one last kick to her ex-master’s head before kneeling down next to her sister and pulling Rianna against her and crying tears of despair, heartache, and self loathing.

“Long live the trust of sisters. There has to be a way to bring you back. I know who I can turn to, if I can find her that is”

Maya wiped the blood away from the gash on Rianna’s head and leapt into the darkness. “I will find a way to bring you back, there just has to be a way.”

Maya was sitting on a tree watching Koto, Ume, as well as Kege and Yama enter the school. It had been a week since she had left Rianna with someone that was able to help her but she hadn’t heard anything. She knew that she just had to wait, but Maya didn’t want to wait. Death was a finicky thing. She was also a finicky person but Maya hoped that Deathica could do something or find someone who could.
Rianna, I will see you again! I just know I will. Long live the trust of sisters!”
